Dragør Kommune har opgivet eget grundvand og må hente drikkevand andet steds fra. Det anføres at årsagen er forurening. Analyseresultater for grundvandet i perioden 1989 til 2019 kan findes hos GEUS, her er Dragør ikke nævnt. Går man derimod tilbage til analyseresultaterne for 1989 til 2014 nævnes Dragør tre gange. Ni forskellige PFC (Perfluorerede carboner beslægtede med PFAS og PFOS) stoffer var påvist.
Oplysningerne har fået mig til at foretage en hastig sammenligning af cancerhyppigheden i Dragør og på Frederiksberg. Værdier for antal cancertilfælde fordelt på kommuner kan hentes hos Kræftens Bekæmpelse.
Antal borgere i de to kommuner er hentet fra nettet, hvor de er anført til 14.565 for Dragør og 103.696 Frederiksberg. Et hurtigt overslag i Excel viser, at der i Dragør cirka er 1/3 større hyppighed af cancer end på Frederiksberg.
Det er en meget grov metode, der kun kan tjene til at vække undren, men en sådan undren, mener jeg til gengæld, er berettiget på baggrund af disse oplysninger.
For øvrigt har Frederiksbergs drikkevand siden 1997 været underkastet filtrering med aktivt kul for at rense det for klorerede opløsningsmidler. Der er på nuværende tidspunkt iværksat yderligere initiativer i retning af at rense Frederiksberg drikkevand endnu bedre.
Tilføjet 9. august 2025: Det bliver nu undersøgt, om der er forhøjet cancerhyppighed på Amager. Det er dog i højere grad luftforureningen knyttet til Kastrup Lufthavn, der er genstand for mistanke med hensyn til årsag. I virkeligheden udelukker det ene ikke det andet. Tværtimod.
